CHART has created a brand new, digital resource for KS2 combining local Swansea heritage with digital literacy in an exciting cross-curricular format, available in both English and Welsh. The resource has been co-produced by researchers from the university, a creative education consultant, and local primary school teachers.

The ‘Copperopolis – A Heritage Project for KS2’ resource pack is packed with whole class activities, team challenges, films and information designed to support creative and independent learning. It contains at least a week of rich, cross-curricular learning resources that teach children to work collaboratively as they are guided through a range of heritage skills, problem-solving tasks, moral dilemmas, and the opportunity to make decisions about how they see the future for our heritage.
